To be in between would mean to set foot at two places at once. To have the best of both worlds. To have a fair share of every good and every bad. To taste each mix life has to serve. To be in the middle.

Being in between is not mediocrity.

It only defines your versatility, that in a sea of people, you are able to walk through.

And stand out.

Come see the world
while in the middle.

Delayed.

Probably I am not that learned enough that I heard of James Soriano’s article just now. Here’s an alternate link to a now obsolete article at the Manila Bulletin on August 24 that roused emotions and raised eyebrows of the “society of rotten beef and stinking fish.”

Why live here, James? If we are a society of rotten beef and stinking fish, why bother share your views or why even stay here. If you feel you don’t deserve the nationality you have now, spare yourself the worry, WE DON’T DESERVE A FELLOW COUNTRYMEN LIKE YOU AS WELL.

I know you are just expressing your opinion, we respect that. That’s why we are helping you that if you feel so scorned of us, it’s okay, you can denounce us the same way we are so willing to condemn you.
